Rush hour in Vang Vieng, Laos – snapshot travel moment

The pace of life really slows down in Laos. Here is Vang Vieng this morning – the view from my breakfast table.

Vang Vieng is famous for its limestone caves, stunning mountain scenery and watersports. It is also popular for backpackers, as you can see.   1. Travel about 3km up the river to find some quite terrifying water slides – a few Lao Beer’s and you will have sufficient courage to have a go !!!
